Malaysia local comic had once became flourish in the old time. However, the condition had changed when overseas comic, Manga flowed into local market from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and United States in 1980. Nowadays, Manga has becoming the mainstream in the local market, and people seem to neglected the Malaysia's comic.
In order to mitigate the issues, it is a great opportunity to opening a local comic center. Kadokawa Gempak Starz had been chosen to promote local comic as it is one of a biggest comic publisher in Malaysia ,and had output over 250 publications of various genres before.
The Kadokawa Gempak Starz Comic Center will features only local made comic inside. It collects various local comic book and also provides other comic related services for comic lover. Let's begin the journey in the World of Malaysia's Comic.
